Rushed

First things first: I am in Ireland, and I am safe and comfortable!
Secondly: Reliable and cheap internet has been very hard to come by, so I apologize for the lack of updates.
With that said, this will be a very brief update, unfortunately. I really want to post everything about my trip so far, but I just now got a wireless internet code... only minutes before I have to leave to trek around town. We're in Dublin now, by the way! We got here yesterday by bus (aka 'coach') and I must say, it's one bustling city! It's got beautiful architecture and building details, and seems very diverse. Much more so than Galway. I loooooved Galway. I absolutely cannot wait to share the pictures from that part of this trip. What a delightful town!

Okay, I must be going. I will update in full soon, I promise.
Farewell for now,
Thea

Yay for subscribers!

It makes me happy to hear that my friends have subscribed to this blog. I am so excited for this trip and to share my adventures with those I care about makes it even more special.
Right now, it's 5:35 a.m., and I have to be to the Orlando airport at 11 a.m. I still haven't slept. I don't think I could actually sleep right now though, I'm too anxious. All of the buildup for this trip reminds me of when I was a kid waiting for Christmas to come.
I'm going to keep this brief because I still have things to do, but my next post will hopefully be while I'm in Galway, Ireland. :)
Farewell for now,
Thea

Oh yeahhh...

Another exciting fact about this trip is that I'll turn 23 while we are in London. What a dream come true!

I just had to share that, as I feel it might just be my most memorable birthday ever. Woo hoo!

Farewell for now,
Thea

First things first

Hello! I'm assuming you know who I am, if you are reading this. But just in case..
My name is Thea, and I'm a 22 year old Advertising student at the University of Florida. I created this blog to chronicle my Study Abroad trip with the College of Journalism and Communications. We will be spending time in Galway and Dublin, Ireland, and in London, England. I am taking two classes while there, both which are specific to my major. The entire trip is for about a month - from May 3 to May 31.

As expected, I am incredibly excited! But I am also quite nervous as I had a rough first semester at UF and have been a bit overwhelmed by things recently. I am trying to get organized so I can be as stress free as possible while traveling, but we'll see how that works out. Life is just going so fast, it's hard to keep up with!

I am half way moved back home so I've got loads of laundry staring me down, among other menial tasks, so I must be headed off. My apologies for such a dry first post!

I leave in six days, so just be patient; good things await the patient reader. :)

Farewell for now,
Thea
